Recently, our CEO and co-founder, Karan Singh, sat down with AIN Online to discuss what Future Flight Global (FFG) is doing to bring electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft into the world of business aviation. From our fleet plans and expansion strategy to the key partnerships we’re forging, here’s a glimpse of our vision.
Shortly after launching in May, FFG signed an agreement to acquire up to 116 of Archer Aviation’s four-passenger Midnight eVTOLs. In the interview, Karan shared that:
“We sincerely believe they have the technology and the finance to have a high chance of getting to market.”
While many see eVTOLs primarily for air taxis, FFG recognizes a wide range of possibilities—from VIP travel to medical flights and specialized corporate missions.
Yes, air taxi service is an important use case. However, eVTOLs can also serve premium clientele in ways traditional charter or corporate aviation never could. Future Flight Global wants to demonstrate real-world value early on—especially since costs and insurance coverage for new aircraft might still be uncertain. By leveraging corporate shuttles, VIP charters, and medical evacuation flights, FFG can set a high bar for safety and service.
During his chat with AIN Online, Singh highlighted our plans to expand quickly and thoughtfully. By partnering with established operators and potentially acquiring Air Operator Certificates (AOCs), FFG aims to establish itself in North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, including India. The FFG expansion strategy is about scaling up quickly while keeping the highest standards for operational excellence.
“We plan to take delivery of many dozens of these aircraft, and we’ll have them ready to deploy for any of our customers,”
— Karan Singh, CEO of FFG
What’s Next for Us?
Another crucial part of the Future Flight Global vision is collaborating with the broader aviation ecosystem, particularly vertiport developers and luxury hotel groups. These partnerships will allow us to create seamless travel experiences for passengers and establish the necessary infrastructure for eVTOL operations. By working closely with these innovative partners, we can ensure our aircraft have the right facilities and airspace access from the start.
Although Archer is a key part of our launch strategy, Future Flight Global is exploring other eVTOL and hybrid-electric aircraft to diversify our fleet. This includes potential regional airline and cargo operations, ensuring we have a well-rounded approach to advanced air mobility. With support from our primary investor—who hails from the automotive sector—and additional fundraising on the horizon, we’re well-positioned to keep moving forward.
If you’d like to learn more about how we are carving out new opportunities in business aviation with eVTOL technology, be sure to check out the full article on AIN Online. We can’t wait to share more news as we continue to expand, innovate, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in the skies. Get in touch if you’re interested in partnering with us, and stay tuned—together, we’re creating a new era of aviation.
