His strategic foresight and unwavering commitment to innovation have been instrumental in driving FFG’s mission to lead the third revolution in aviation, positioning the company at the forefront of transforming global transportation through electric and hybrid aviation solutions.
Singh’s illustrious career began with more than 10 years of experience as a commercial airline pilot, logging over 5,000 hours on Boeing 737 aircraft with Jet Airways, one of India’s leading airlines. Anticipating the burgeoning potential of the Indian commercial and corporate aviation sector, he transitioned from active flying to entrepreneurship. In 2003, he founded KuBase Aviation Pvt. Ltd., followed by Indo Pacific Aviation Ltd. in 2004. These pioneering ventures have been instrumental in shaping the Indian civil aviation landscape, offering comprehensive aviation solutions that simplify the acquisition, ownership, and operation of business aircraft. Through a client-centric approach, Captain Singh has successfully delivered tailored, scalable, and robust aviation services, significantly contributing to the growth and sophistication of the sector.
In 2005, recognizing the need for a unified voice in the business aviation industry, Singh spearheaded the formation of the Business Aviation Association for India (BAAI). Under his leadership as President and later Vice-President, BAAI played a crucial role in advocating for policies and standards that support the sustainable growth of business aviation. His efforts culminated in the merger of BAAI into the Business Aircraft Operators Association (BAOA) in 2011, where he continues to serve as Vice President and Governing Board Member. His contributions to industry advocacy and policy influence have been pivotal in shaping a conducive environment for business aviation in India, earning international recognition and affiliation with the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) in 2006.
Singh’s entrepreneurial prowess is further exemplified through his roles as the founder and CEO of KuBase Aviation and Indo Pacific Aviation. These companies have pioneered aircraft management in India, managing a diverse fleet of 15 aircraft ranging from single-engine helicopters to large cabin, ultra-long range jets. His strategic vision has enabled these companies to secure DGCA-approved CAT C and CAR 145 Maintenance Facilities at DIAL, New Delhi, and establish exclusive distributorships for Robinson Helicopters, enhancing operational capabilities and service offerings.
